Therapy That Empowers You to a Brighter Future.
Hi, I’m Cat.
I’m glad you’re here!
Taking the first step towards support is a courageous one and I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Life can present us with unexpected challenges, leaving us feeling lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Whether you're navigating the complexities of past trauma, seeking to strengthen your relationship, or simply striving for a more fulfilling life, I’d be honored to guide you on your journey. Together, we will build up your confidence, find tools to create lasting change, and strengthen your capacity to face life with courage and resilience.
Healing from Trauma & PTSD: Utilizing approaches like EMDR to help you process and integrate difficult experiences, fostering resilience and a sense of safety.
Strengthening Relationships: Guiding couples through the complexities of communication, conflict resolution, and intimacy, drawing upon methods like the Gottman Method to build stronger foundations and deepen connections.
Navigating Life's Challenges: Supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and the pursuit of greater self-awareness and well-being, often integrating mindfulness and ACT principles.
My aim is to empower you to understand yourself better, develop effective coping skills, and cultivate the life and relationships you desire. If any of this resonates with you, you’ve come to the right place.

About the Name
What does Calathea mean?
Calathea (pronounced ka-luh-thee-uh), is a type of flowering plant belonging to the family Marantaceae. Calatheas, like their relatives, are commonly referred to as prayer plants, and are a symbol for new beginnings. This comes from the saying, “to turn over a new leaf,” which is what Calatheas do to their leaves in the dark, almost like hands in prayer, waiting to open back up at sunrise.
The name is a symbol for how we too can begin anew, start fresh, and open again to find the light even after our darkest hour.
